Yesterday, Reedpop announced they were postponing Emerald City Comic Con over concerns of the COVID-19 outbreak here in Seattle. Although the news was hard to swallow, the safety of staff, volunteers, and con-goers should be everyone’s utmost priority. Fortunately, Reedpop plans to move the convention to a later date this summer rather than canceling it altogether.
As soon as Dragonwatt Games receives confirmation of the new dates, we’ll be sure to pass it on. We expect to be able to keep our spot in the indie showcase, too.
For now, you’ll still find us at the local PlaytestNW events at Mox Ballard and The Game Shelf in Kent. We’ll also keep an eye out for other opportunities at stores and events in the coming months.
Ultimately, your health and safety is what’s most important. Please take care and stay vigilant. As always, thanks for the support and we look forward to seeing everyone at ECCC this summer!
Updated 3/11: Due to developing recommendations by the CDC and Governor Inslee, we have canceled all appearances at local events for the month of March. Events in April are on the table until further notice.
